This month, luxury Indian dining concept Colonel Saab launches its unique, Indian and British fusion afternoon high tea.

Try something special at luxury Indian dining concept Colonel Saab in the heart of Holborn. A unique, Indian and British fusion afternoon high tea set between Covent Garden and Bloomsbury. This Indian fine dining restaurant is the perfect spot for a lavish afternoon tea and why not make it that extra special with our Champagne option?

The three-tiered feast includes:
A selection of finger dhokla sandwiches with coriander and mint chutney
Onion Bhajia sprinkled with pickle chaat masala
Fresh raisin scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam
Homemade coconut & Earl Grey cookies
Saffron & Rose Shrikhand macarons
Selection of tea cakes

Diners can opt for one of three afternoon tea options, starting from £25 per head - a tea and coffee option, a bubbly option or The Three C High Tea – Chai, Charlie and Champagne Afternoon Tea including a variety of excellent chai and three of Taittinger's most popular champagnes - Brut, Rose and Nocturne.

At every point in their journey, they would drive around in their modest Fiat motor car, meeting fascinating people, accumulating artwork and tasting an array of delicious and varied regional food. From traditional local lunches in the tents of Rajasthan to British- inspired Indian breakfasts in the Officers Mess, and even stunning banquets hosted by Indian nobility and Maharajas, they experienced it all.
