Among a plethora of festivals celebrated in India, Diwali can be considered as an Indian Christmas. Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. This Festival of light is widely celebrated and the festivities takes place all across the country. As it involves lightning of clay lamps, sharing sweets meaningful gifts and going out with your family to meet relations and friends.

Having been brought up in India I’ve always loved the Indian festivities. The food is the major part of festivals, that is what I have felt over years. Holi has Gujjiyas, Ganesh Chaturthi has Modak, Eid has Sewaiya, each festival has its own signature and significant special dish.

At Colonel Saab, I wish for guests to feel the authenticity of Indian Culture and food. To relax their selves with old-style Jazz music, museum worthy artworks and enjoy a modern twist on the flavours and textures of India. Our chefs have created dishes that with resonate with our upbringing and families.

For the chance to enjoy an unforgettable Diwali experience book now and try our special Diwali menu from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th October.
