Live-fire kebabs, bold Indian spice, and centuries of tandoor tradition now available for a limited time until 20th September at our Holborn and Trafalgar Square locations.
Bringing India's Fire to the Heart of London
There's a moment every kebab lover knows the sizzle as a skewer hits the grill, that first curl of charcoal smoke, the char just starting to kiss the edges of marinated meat. Available until 20th September, that moment takes centre stage at Colonel Saab, as we launch our biggest celebration of the kebab yet: the Kebab Festival, now running at both our Holborn and Trafalgar Square locations.
Expect a curated menu of signature and limited-edition skewers, each one rooted in classic Indian tandoor technique but finished with the Colonel Saab twist our regulars know us for. Every kebab is marinated for hours before it ever meets the coals, giving the spice time to work its way through the meat rather than just sitting on the surface the difference between a good kebab and a great one.
Think char-grilled seekh kebabs spiced with signature spice blend, succulent tandoori chicken kissed with smoked paprika, melt-in-the-mouth galouti kebabs with their old-Lucknow pedigree, and a showstopping vegetarian kebab line-up that proves plant-based grilling can hold its own on the fire.
Whether you order a single skewer to share at the start of the meal or work your way through the full line-up, this is food built to be eaten hot off the grill bold, smoky, and made for sharing at the table.
With the festival running only until 20th September lunch hour 12pm-3pm, we'd recommend booking sooner rather than later, as tables for the sharing platters are going fast.

Menu Highlights
Seekh Kebab Reimagined — Hand-spiced minced lamb, hand-skewered and grilled over live charcoal.
Tandoori Galouti — The melt-in-the-mouth Lucknow classic, finished with a whisper of saffron.
Smoked Paneer Tikka — Charred, smoky, and unapologetically bold — our vegetarian showstopper.
Chicken Malai Tikka — Cream and cashew-marinated chicken, grilled until gently charred at the edges.
Reshmi Kebab — Silken, mildly spiced minced chicken, named for its signature velvet texture.
Jhinga Ajwaini — King prawns marinated in carom seed and lemon, flash-grilled over the tandoor.
Lamb Chops Colonel Saab — Whole lamb chops in a bold, dark spice crust — the boldest bite on the menu.
Paneer Shashlik — Skewered paneer, peppers and onion, glazed and grilled until lightly blistered.
Colonel's Mixed Grill Platter — The festival centrepiece, built for sharing at the table.

What Guests Are Saying
"The seekh kebab alone is worth the visit — properly smoky, properly spiced, nothing like the usual kebab shop version."
"We shared the mixed grill platter between four of us and still fought over the last chop. Coming back before the festival ends."
"Best tandoori chicken I've had in London. You can tell it's been marinated properly, not just brushed with sauce."
